Custom Corporate Branded Illustration
Featuring the 7 Brand Pillars of KAUST, this custom illustration elevated the University brand for Dignitaries, VIP's and Royalty.
Commissioned by the President of KAUST, (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) I developed a high end design suited for VIP's, Royalty and Dignitaries, meeting all seven KAUST brand pillars, whilst blending them seamlessly into the overall design. As the recipient views the artwork, design elements slowly reveal themselves as meaningful objects in the overall concept from the well known Beacon of Knowledge sculpture at KAUST, along with biomorphic designs and the KAUST logo that accentuate the brand story. At the core of the design is an ode to the history of Saudi Arabia, featuring ancient geometric design, whilst on the outer rim, I created the word science, in square Kufic as the overarching brand pillar of the university.
This artwork was so popular, the university included it in their flagship store and the product is placed at the high end luxury sales item generating significant income for Matjar.
